WHYC Spring Newsletter: Welcome to WHYC, May 2021 

Our mission is preserve this important genetic diversity for future generations.

WHYC criterion for North American Heritage Yak have been added to the Conservation Priority List (CPL) at the Livestock Conservancy in the Research Category.

We’re the only Yak association at are approved as Conservation Partners with the Association of Zoo’s and Aquariums (AZA).

We’ve created the criterion that was approved by the Livestock Conservancy to define the Heritage Yak Breed.
